March is almost over. So here's what we've been doing. Clara's developing her own unique fashion sense. And I usually don't have the willpower to fight it. So here she is, modeling safety glasses and her brother's snow boots. She's probably wearing jeans with that skirt, too. She likes to do that.
Nathan just likes to get creative with the Mr. Potato head. He's getting creative with the flattery, though. This morning he told me, "this room looks great with all the toys picked up." Well. I've been working for months to get him to recognize that one. And yesterday he told me that my hair looked great. (It really didn't.)
March has also been known as the time of the Finished Projects. Here's the kids' quilts that I worked on for far longer than their appearance justifies. But they're pretty happy with them. Big thanks to my mom for the many hours of guidance and assistance.
And here's their new bedroom. So far it's been a big hit.
So far, the curtains are unsewn. That project is not going to get finished, I think. I ran out of steam, and now I'm finishing up, not starting new things.
And, lastly, I will tell you: 36 weeks is a horrible time to start painting your cabinets. But three weeks later, it's done. Paint, new hinges, and hardware. I'm liking my kitchen more and more, now that it's all done. My nesting phase is petering out, so hopefully this baby will hurry and come.
