Easter was beautiful. The rain and cold of the day before were gone and the day was warm and sunny. We were glad, so we could have our Easter dinner outside, since many people + my kitchen = claustrophobia.

All the grandkids were especially glad to be outside because: (1) there was dirt! and (2) we had an Easter egg hunt.

Ethan and his very dirty knees.

And what's a first birthday without getting terribly sticky? Nathan loved his cake(s).

These pictures make me ache for home! I spent easter here in Louisiana waging make believe warfare. I miss the family get togethers so badly. Soon enough.
