Annoying Mother

This is my blog, I guess. I’ll have to keep up on it. Enjoy. As for the name, Dumbarton Bridge is a toll bridge over the San Francisco Bay. And, as we all three drove over it last October (one just wasn’t born yet), I figured it would be an appropriate name. Thus, this blog is our bridge—to you.

So, you know those annoying moms? (Not any of you, of course.) Well, I fear I’ve become one. I used to always be annoyed by those moms that were so enamored of their children and didn’t realize that everyone did not share the same enthusiasm. And now that’s what I do. I tell story after story about how great my Nathan is. And the cute things he does. And how he’s sleeping at night. It’s when I find myself telling people about his poop that I realize I’ve probably gone too far. So I apologize to all of you.

In my defense, though, (let’s be blunt,) I don’t have much else to talk about. Spending time with Nathan is what I do. And I couldn’t be happier though. I guess I’ll just have to keep up on the news or something to have something else to talk about. In fact, I’m listening to an NPR segment about how African Americans hate Uncle Tom’s Cabin. And Linnell, if listening to NPR makes me a liberal, then I guess I am. But that’s a subject for another post.
